We woke up in the early morning and set off to Mui Ne by private van. It took about 5 to 6 hours to reach there. We had our breakfast in the hotel before the private van and tour guide fetched us at 7:30am and transferred to Muine. Before arrived at Muine, we stopped at Tiem Com Lang Van located at Phan Thiet Town for lunch. It was just a small stall in a shop which served seafood, vegetables, fish, pork and so on with fair price. Chose the food that you like and the vendor will grab a couple of pieces for you.
After lunch, we moved to Ocean Valley Hotel for check in. The sun was still hot and we had our free time in the afternoon to relax.
Ocean Valley Hotel
It is a no-nonsense family owned hotel where rooms are big and comfortable enough and clean and fresh. Decor is simple and functionary but most of all it fits the budget. Although people might consider it lacking in amenities (like a pool), it is greatly compensated by the prompt and kind service of its staff. In any case we were always out and about so it did not matter much to us.

Aside from that, they have a great sea view across the street, unlike in other places where in the sea views come with a hefty price tag.
The best way to go around Mui Ne is to use a bike or motor bike and Ocean Valley offers rental for it but we didn't need it because we have own private van with tour guide. They can also arrange for tours to the Sand Dunes and Fairy Stream. All in all we enjoyed our stay there.

Red Sand Dunes
At about 4:30pm, we went there to see the sunset and the view is really incredible. If you are in Muine, you definitely should go there.
Note: Be prepared to be hassled by the kids who will try and sell you slides. This place was full with kids annoying you with slide rent even you just passed by for a photo shoot.

Just a few step toward Red Sand Dunes.

The views from the top of the dunes are very nice though, you can see the fisherman wharf on the ocean and town below as well as a great view of the surrounding area.
Standby to play "Sand Sliding" at Red Sand Dunes.

Saigon Beer taste good! with the price of VND 11,000/big bottle.
Grilled goat meat + okra (anywhere, I didn't eat goat meat!)
In Vietnam, you can't miss vegetable + herb dish.
Grilled goat meat + Vegetable + Herb and wrapped and rolled with rice paper. Hmm..Yummy!
Goat steamboat with some add on.
Everyone was ready!
The smallest petrol station that I ever saw.
As we arrived at the nearby shop just in front of the Red Sand Dunes, a lot of unknown fans came and surrounded our private van. It seems that we liked K-pop stars. They were requested you to rent the slides and followed you until you managed to rent it from them.
We crossed the road to Red Sand Dunes as our private van parked at shop.
I recommended to climb as far as possible
from the road and the view will be better. Since this was my first time to see the Red Sand Dunes, I was amazed with the views
of the sand and its formation. There are tourists who visited this
place because of its unique quality.

We rented 4 slides from kids with VND 60,000.
Remember: Please remember the kids that rent the slides to you. He/She will serve and help you to play "Sand Sliding". Don't take any other slides as you will be charged more later on.

In short, amazingly beautiful scenery, pretty incredible experience. Not much to
see or do but it's something I would definitely recommended.
For the dinner tonight, tour guide recommended us to try grilled goat meat and goat steamboat which was famous in Mui Ne. So, we directly headed to goat meat restaurant from Red Sand Dunes.

At
night, we had free time walked along the street to find fresh and
good seafood but the tour guide talked us that seafood here just
so-so taste only. The best seafood taste will be in HCMC. Therefore, we
didn't try the seafood and just walked along the street. There were a lot of seafood barbecue “bo ke” restaurants, fish and
lobsters in tanks which lining the road.

Before end of the day, I played snooker with our tour guide and some Vietnamese people^^
